A BUS STOP FILMS PRODUCTION
A vivacious woman with Down Syndrome forms an unlikely friendship with a Sudanese refugee through their mutual love of the street dance, KRUMP.
Kill Off is an inclusive film project brought to life by 11 students with an intellectual disability under the guidance of professional film industry mentors. The short was made through a 10-month inclusive filmmaking program, developed by Bus Stop Films co-founder, Genevieve Clay-Smith. The program is designed to give people who never usually get the chance to study or be involved in filmmaking the opportunity to do so. The story of Kill Off is based on a feature length film, Baby Cat, which Bus Stop Films is currently developing with the help of Screen Australia’s Gender Matters funding initiative.
