Lounges

The issue i've run into is two of the prop houses ONLY list all their prices online, but their websites have both been down with a note saying to email and ask for prices. Which I have done, but they wont reply until Monday. This leaves me with Omega and History for Hire which I know the prices of, they have a good selection of single couches, but have very few sets that match. Ideally we would want two couches and two chairs to seat 9 - 10 people.

Ikea have an assortment of very basic boring couches, that we can buy return IF the budget allows for retail prices to be paid and refunded next week.

Urban Outfitters are selling a selection

Here is a short selection of Couches with prices. I'm not in love with any of them. With money so tight I think renting very basic shape from either an event company, or a party supply place (like the cheap one you mentioned) and covering it with a fluffy fabric would be nicer. I'm going to head to the fabric district first, so will let you know what I find.

I know that on Monday I can find a nicer couch option around the $200 to $250 mark, but that would still mean two of them is $400+ and then we still need arm chairs.

Cerimonial Area?

This is sort of out of the box thinking. But we could use the 'white drape' lounge area as a sort of ceremonial 'church' feel area. We could put a Lectern against the wall, and have rows of angled church pews or benches facing it. This is more of an excuse to get away with using cheaper mass seating benches with some sort of context. Just an idea?

My couches

Daylight Photos of the two large sofas and chase. They are free if you want them. The cushions are removable so we can wrap them or drape them in fabric easily.

Wooden art concept

This was a rushed test application I did last night. I didn't wait long enough to pull off the paper, which lead to the white discoloration - when left to properly set this wont happen. I can then stain them to look aged, and paint a red/gold edge around them.

These are free to use artwork I scaled to fit the cards. The back of each card can be the "LUST" symbol you mentioned.

Liquid Chalk for defacing Glass, Mirrors, etc

Liquid Chalk Test - I left it to set Overnight to see if it became hard to remove.

The result was great, we can easily and safely deface TVs and Photo Frames.

Various Twig Art

The beginnings of the Dining Table center piece, and twiggy art for the walls. They are light weight and we can use museum wax to attach them to the walls without damaging anything.

Truck Rental

Ideally we would rent a Truck for MONDAY AND TUESDAY, but if we only have budget for ONE day, I would recommend we rent it for Tuesday morning 6am. That way Monday can be a lock down of the items we need at Prop houses, which will save time and money as the pickups and deliveries. Monday we can use cars to deliver small and medium items, while I confirm all rentals and prices.
